The Business
This business is an established, kiwi owned research consultancy and advisory service. As a business, they are flexible and ambitious, fast-paced, and changeable based on market needs.  As a small but growing company, they need people who are comfortable working at speed and can adapt on the fly.  Their current Client Delivery Manager is going on maternity leave so we're looking for someone who can ideally start at the beginning of December 2020 to fill their shoes.

The Role
Using your strong commercial and organisational skills you will be managing clients from picking up briefs through to setting workflows, overseeing commercial terms, and managing delivery.  Using your excellent project management and communication abilities you will be a key point of contact for clients, responsible for ensuring projects are adequately resourced and costed and that key milestones are achieved.  With great stakeholder management abilities, both internally and externally, you will be adept at working with the Head of Research to ensure work quality is second to none and also one step ahead of the client in terms of discussing and negotiating the next steps in the project and relationship.  This role is also responsible for managing a team of 4 people.  

The Experience
You will have previous experience in both project management and client relationship management as this role is split evenly between the two.  Ideally, you will have experience working in a marketing or research agency where you have held responsibility for costing and delivering projects and managing the onboarding and setting up of new clients.  You will be able to speak comfortably to your experience managing multiple priorities, being strategic but still hands-on.  You will be comfortable doing the doing behind the scenes, calculating costs, and planning/assigning work to the team.  In addition, you will be comfortable meeting with clients and renegotiating commercial terms.
