The Business 
This Kiwi-grown, values-driven business has an innovative product offering and an expanding global presence.  Well-established and thriving, they manufacture recycled materials into building products that are used in the construction of everything from local schools to world-renowned landmarks.  Due to an internal promotion, they are now hiring a customer support extraordinaire to join their dynamic team.


The Role

This is a fast-paced and varied role that will see you ensuring customers receive their orders promptly by entering them into the system and liaising with other departments to ensure order details are received correctly and will go out the door on time.

The ability to multi-task, cope well under pressure, maintain a positive outlook, be willing to help, and maintain high energy is imperative to your success in this role.

Duties will include (but are not exclusive to):

  • Managing incoming sales inquiries
  • Customer support and updates on order progress/issues etc to customers
  • Keying in orders and corresponding administration 
  • Liaising with the sales team on order details and technical requirements
  • Liaising with the manufacturing department as required
  • Covering reception as and when required

The Person
We are looking for someone who has previous experience in a phone and email-based customer service role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.

  • Exceptional communication with clear and articulate verbal and written skills
  • A proactive attitude, seeking out ways to improve the customer and staff experience
  • To be prepared to go beyond the confines of a job description
  • Impeccable accuracy and attention to detail
  • To be a team player, someone who is a natural connector and collaborates across all departments
  • The ability to work switch tasks, and maintain quality of work under pressure
  • High energy and an always available to help out attitude
