Who are they...
Starting as a small kiwi owned business, this company is now a well established, reputable, and trusted brand. They build a really awesome niche product that is in high demand from the world's largest manufacturing, logistics, and freight companies. They've supplied their equipment to over 50 countries throughout the world and are ready and eager to build on their existing success with an aim to double their business in the next 5 years. 

As part of their growth plan, they are on the hunt for an experienced sales professional. They invest significantly in sales training and development and have an expert trainer who will coach you one on one. 

What you'll be doing...
Based in the Head Office in Mt Wellington you will work as part of a close-knit sales team and be responsible for growing, developing, and building customer relationships and networks. You'll be targeting complex enterprise businesses across the world and dealing exclusively with C-Suite level decision makers - so confidence is key. 

Whilst your initial contact will be phone or video-based, you'll also have the opportunity to travel around the world to meet with target businesses to cement relationships and work on developing deeper connections with existing contacts. 

Reporting directly into the CEO this is a great role with lots of time invested into your own personal development to help ensure you are confident hunting new business whilst also working smartly to maximise opportunities with each customer and business networks. 

Who you are...
It is essential that you have experience working in B2B sales and are a confident new business developer. It's also important that you have an understanding of how to effectively approach and engage executive level decision makers.

An enthusiastic and driven sales person you will be a natural researcher with strong business acumen and the ability to work with the rest of your team to develop a market strategy, target customers, and identify and engage with key decision makers.  

No technical product knowledge is required however experience selling high-value items, international sales experience, and the ability to speak a second language would be advantageous. 

Whilst the Auckland based aspect of your role will be predominantly video and phone-based you will travel internationally every 2 - 3 months for 2 weeks at a time.
